ABYSSMAL RIFT
Abyssal Rift with second album Relics of Great Ash
Columbus Metal with balls.
I would more than be remiss by calling this band (Death Doom) as there is so much to this album that really trancends Genre.
Abyssal Rift are from Columbus, Oh and in the smorgasbord of Metal I have heard and seen from that area I can't pinpoint a single band that has captivated me as much as Abyssal Rift
This band has so much to offer so many listeners of extreme Metal that I myself can listen to this album from beginning to end while trying to accomplish a goal for myself and loose time
Definitely not a band to take lightly and as they don't intend to.

Dustin is the lead guitarist of Driven By Torment, a metal band rooted in the Corbin, Kentucky music scene. Currently performing as a three-piece instrumental outfit while searching for the right vocalist and frontman, Driven By Torment is determined to carve out its own identity and leave a lasting mark on the local metal community.
His musical influences span generations and styles, including Killswitch Engage, Mudvayne, Pantera, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, Shadows Fall, GWAR, Judas Priest, Arch Enemy, Queen, and the late, great Ozzy Osbourne.
Among the guitarists who have had the greatest influence on Dustin are Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde, and Brian May, four legendary players whose distinct styles helped shape his approach to the instrument.
With a love for heavy music, creative expression, and the local scene, Dustin Ray and Driven By Torment are focused on one thing: making their sound impossible to ignore.
I have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Dustin and watching him play, with the passion and aggression he brings is awesome.
